For this project, I used the Carpet One box they sent me to create my mood board using their flooring samples. It makes it so much easier to check flooring samples than heading to the store.

The Trending Samples Box I received was filled with contents that helped me create my mood board. These are items that can help you create a hands on mood board like I am doing. Many things can give you inspiration when creating your mood board. In addition to Pinterest, I like to look at magazines and paint samples to help give me ideas.

The key component to my design box was the flooring samples. They sent all different types for me to review. I took some time to compare the samples.

Collect the Images You Want to Use In Your Design Board The first step to making a design board is to collect the images you want to use for your mood board. It probably is the most technical option, but because the program can do SO much more than any other software out there, it can be very intimidating to learn. However, since I also use LightRoom to edit my photos you can read more about that process here , it made sense to also use PhotoShop.
